Our Mission & Vision
Empowering voters with knowledge. We provide accessible, nonpartisan resources that help RGV residents understand voter registration, elections, ballots, deadlines, and the voting process.
Turning connections into civic action. Through our Ambassador Program, we equip trusted community members with the tools and resources to engage their families, coworkers, friends, and neighbors.
Building a stronger voice for the RGV. We work with employers, schools, municipalities, and community organizations to make civic participation easier and help increase voter turnout across the Rio Grande Valley.

New Research
The Rio Grande Valley consistently trails Texas in voter turnout. From 2016 through 2024, the region's turnout rate remained approximately 11 to 13 percentage points below the statewide rate and ranked near the bottom among Texas counties.
In 2024, approximately 48.5% of registered voters in the four-county region participated, compared with 61.2% statewide. The report examines regional and county-level trends and compares the Valley with other major metropolitan areas across Texas.
A gap of roughly 11–13 points has held steady since 2016 — this is a structural pattern, not a single-year dip.
